Stop by the zoo and find out how you can become part of the dynamic team of volunteers known as the Potter Park Zoo docents.  You'll learn about what it takes to be one and will have the opportunity to meet current docents and some of PPZ's education animals.


Those interested in becoming a docent will also have the opportunity to fill out an application and schedule an interview.   Tours of the zoo will be offered, so please dress for the weather.

Some of our docents are trained to work with our education animals, some help with zoo tours and programs, while others work to enhance our visitors'  experience at the zoo. Sound like something you'd like to be a part of? Then we'll see you on January 12th!
