Zoo Birthday Parties

With hundreds of wild animals from around the world, Potter Park Zoo is the perfect place to hold your child’s next birthday party. With lots of different options available, no matter what you choose, your birthday celebration at the Zoo will be one to remember!

Package options

Please note pricing includes up to 20 individuals (adults and children), additional guests may be added at $7.00 per person.

Birthday Party Package #1

Pricing: Zoo Society Members $140.00; non-members $155.00
This package includes:

• Zoo admission for guests
• Two hours in a party room in the Exploration and Discovery Center for Education
• Hostess assists throughout the party
• Set up and clean up
• Animal Crackers and Juice Boxes for guests
• Animal presentation by the Education Department

Birthday Party Package #2

(Zoo Society Members $165.00; non-members $180.00)
This package includes:

• Everything in package #1
• A Birthday Cake for up to 20 guests
• All paper products

Birthday Party Package #3

(Zoo Society Members $190.00; non-members $205.00)
This package includes:

• Everything in package #1
• A visit from "Ned", the Zoo mascot (a great photo opportunity!)

Party Add-Ons

• Goody Bag - $5.00 per child
• Birthday Cake - $25.00 (serves up to 20 guests)
• Rainforest Sundae Bar – a "build your own" sundae bar $3.50 per person
• Pizza - $35.00 4 large pepperoni or cheese pizzas
• Ice Cream Cups - $15.00 (served with cake)
• Table Service - $15.00 (includes plates, napkins, spoons, forks, and table covers)
• Pony Rides (seasonally) - $3.00 per child

Reservation Information

Parties must be scheduled at least two (2) weeks in advance. A $50 nonrefundable credit card deposit is required at time of booking. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. The balance will be due on the date of your party. Please note that the costs include Zoo admission but does not include parking. For more information on parking fees please click here.
