Did You Know?
The main threat to River Otters are water pollution and habitat destruction.
Doesn’t it seem like, as the weather cools, everyone around the water cooler starts turning their attention to fall and winter holidays? Well, truth is, it’s no different here at the zoo. If you can believe it I’m already planning our staff holiday party for December. Have you started working on yours? It’s going to be here before you know it. Consider having it at the zoo. We have a beautiful banquet room that accommodates up to 200 and instead of the typical entertainment you can enjoy the animal residents in a winter-wonderland setting. Monday through Wednesday the zoo grounds are available for rent so you can ‘WOW’ your staff or clients with their own exclusive Wonderland of Lights experience, sponsored by local McLaren Greater Lansing. We will turn on the holiday lights throughout the zoo so you and your guests can celebrate the holiday in style. A catered dinner, cocktails, music, animals and a wonderland of lights! No more lame holiday parties, they’ll still be talking about this one next December! Contact me, Jen Rostar, at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on making your Holiday party at Potter Park Zoo a reality.
