Volunteer Awareness Day

The Potter Park Zoological Society wants you! Yes, you! To join us on Saturday, January 13, 2007, at 10:00 AM in the Safari Room at the Education Center just inside the zoo gates, where you will learn all about the many opportunities to become a volunteer. You'll get to hear docents (our volunteer educators) tell you about their experiences, get an insider's tour of the zoo, and find out how easy it is for you to be a part of our wildlife conservation adventures!

You will learn all about how you can be a:

Volunteer Recruitment Day is free to anyone who would like to join us. You will not be asked to commit to anything during the meeting, but you will have the opportunity to sign up for an interview if you like.

You must be 18 or older to apply. To learn more about our volunteer opportunities, click here; if you are a teenager from 13 to 16 years old, you can also learn about our Teen Volunteer Program.
