Potter Park Zoo 5K Run Saturday, June 14, 2008 The Potter Park Zoological Society invites you to participate in the Annual 5K Rhino Walk . . . Run and 1K Kids' Race. All proceeds go to the Rhino Yard Expansion Project. Participants are asked to find sponsors to pledge donations when runners complete the course. Times: All participants must be registered by 8:00AM on race day. The Kids' 1K run begins at 9AM The Kids' 100-yard sprint begins at 9:20AM The 5K Run/Walk begins at 9:30AM —All kids in 1 mile event will receive a medal! —The 5K walk/run is non competitive, but all participants are officially timed and follow an accurate 5K course —Each entrant gets a rhino T-shirt, free drinks, fruit, and bagels —Parents do not have to participate in order to register their children —Raffle prizes given away after the event!!
