Recycling Day July 15, 2008 2:00 to 7:00PM Van Atta's Greenhouse is sponsoring a special recycling event to take care of your gardening recyclables In conjunction with the Regional Recycling Coordinating Committee, Van Atta's is pleased to announce a pilot program to assist residents to recycle a variety of containers used in planting. ITEMS ACCEPTED Most types of containers will be accepted, but items are generally limited to pots, flats, plug trays and cell packs with one of the following symbols on the bottom of the container: HDPE = High Density Polyethylene PP = Polypropylene PS = Polystyrene ACCEPTANCE GUIDELINES All items must be free of dirt, with like items stacked together. Any items with dirt or debris, or not stacked neatly, will be turned away. Please understand the labor necessary to package items for transport to a recycler and respect these requirements.
