International Migratory Bird Day, May 31, 2008 This once-a-year event is sponsored by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and is intended to increase awareness about the importance of wild birds in our ecosystem by celebrating their amazing yearly migration. The Potter Park Zoo is proud to participate in this worthy cause by designing educational programs about birds and their migratory habits. Come visit the Zoo on June 3 and you will also be treated to bird-of-prey shows, crafts, and interesting wildlife displays.
