Bird & Reptile House

The Bird and Reptile house includes dozens of animals ranging from Boas, Emerald Tree Snakes, and Gila Monsters to Macaws, Owls, and the highly endangered Bali Minah bird.

Only a few dozen Bali Minah birds (pictured at left) still exhist in the world. The Potter Park Zoo is trying to breed a pair of these rare animals so that they one day may recover from the brink of extinction.

Bali Minah birds are part of the SSP Program.
