We have planned a great camp season for 2008! Based on input from parents, kids and teachers, we have made many changes in the availability and scheduling of our camp classes.

This year we have added a 5th day—with no increase in fees! All of our classes now run Monday through Friday. Zookambi kids can attend a morning class, an afternoon class, or both. All classes will have a snack provided.

If your child is enrolled in both morning and afternoon classes, parents must provide a sack lunch or money for the concession stand. Your child will be supervised by our caring staff during the lunch hour.

Check out the new classes! So many choices! We have added seven new classes this year. Teachers have also updated and made improvements to all of your favorite classes. Each class offered is now unique to one grade level. Can't decide? Then choose more than one. Zookambi classes are offered throughout the summer!

We have simplified our enrollment requirements: eligibility for classes is now determined by grade level. When determining which grade level is appropriate for your child, please note that the grade levels listed refer to the grade your child will be entering in the 2008/2009 school year.

To ensure a quality experience for all Zookambi kids, all classes are taught by experienced teachers with adult assistants and class size is limited to twenty.

We look forward to making this summer full of fun, discovery and learning about the animal kingdom with your child.

Class Schedules (read the class descriptions)

• Morning (AM) Classes are Monday through Friday, 9:00AM to 12:00PM
• Afternoon (PM) Classes are Monday through Friday, 1:00PM to 4:00PM
• Early Drop Off: Parents can drop off their children no earlier than 8:30 AM (for monring sessions) or 12:30 PM (for afternoon). Pick up must be promptly at 12:00 PM or 4:00 PM!
• Class Cancellations: The Zoo Society reserves the right to cancel a program. Every effort will be made to contact students if this occurs.
• Sick/Cancellation Policy: Credit will be issued to anyone cancelling 14 days prior to the first day of class, less a $20.00 processing fee. If you cancel within 14 days, or if child misses week due to illness, you can apply your registration fees to another week or towards any of our many other zoo programs.

NOTE: Pre-Registration and full payment for all classes are required. Registration forms can be mailed, faxed or completed online. (No phone registrations, please)

FEES

• Family Members of the Potter Park Zoological Society (current through 8/31/08): $65 per student per class.
• Non-Members: $80 per student per class (get a family membership for $50 and receive the discounted membership fee)
• Full Day Option: Add $24.00 to class fees for the week. This covers the cost of supervision for your child during the lunch hour. Don't forget to send a sack lunch or lunch money!
